An electric conversion can easily cost $25,000. Our team has a budget of less than half of that. All in all, this may actually benefits us, since it keeps us working hard to find efficient solutions. As a result, our team is lightweight, and places serious consideration into each component in our design process.
In addition, this budget means that every dollar actually makes a real difference. We've been fortunate enough to raise the full amount we had hoped for. With this support, we are able to boost our motor performance by 29 horsepower, upgrade our system components- switches, relays, and wiring, and increase our battery capabilities from 16 to 24kWh. Our team can't thank our donors enough for bringing this project some real firepower.
