Most electric conversions (ours included) use what's known as a 'split system'. Our split system includes a 12V, and a 96V wiring system for the car.
This weekend, Bradley and I made great progress on the 12 volt system. This pretty much wraps up installation of the fuse box, relays, quite a few switches, as well as some serious wiring harnesses.
This means (with the car on) we can power up the headlights, high beams, brake lights, running lights, blinkers, and a few auxiliary systems!
Here's a time-lapse. Not much movement, but trust us, we're getting a lot getting done!
